SHOW & TELL.: Spread the word...

 

Okay folks, here’s the deal. I want to relocate to Portland, OR this fall. Taxes hurt me, but I want to believe this isn’t a crazy endeavor— so I’m going to try something new as an ongoing project.  I’m going to offer themed commissions, after one of my favorite things to draw: animals.

For a $20 pledge, you will get a 5x7” black and white inked portrait of an animal of your choice on bristol board- plus there will also be some form of decoration/plants/scenery/pattern/background in there too.  My preference is for nonspecific (nonpet) illustrations, but if you’re dead-set we can chat! Wild animals are awesome. Weird ones are super great! Monsters/beasts are also on the table. (Wanting a chimaera? A weretiger? I am all for this.)  

For $40, you can get a 8x10” portrait, which if you like can have another animal in it. Want something more complicated? Let’s talk about it. (I am limiting this to black and white only though, at least for now. Maybe we can do spot color later!) 

 Due to potential popularity of the project (I hope!) and my freelance schedule, I will try my hardest to get commissions completed in a timely manner; I am aiming to get each one done within a month of its commission date. If things get crazy, I’ll try really hard to keep you up to date though if I fall behind.

I will be collecting scans of these pieces to share online and eventually I hope to compile them into a book or zine to share with folks down the line!

Basically, Meg Hunt (MEG FUCKIN’ HUNT!) is drawing beautiful things in exchange for your money so she can move to Portland. Black & white. $20 for a 5”x7” and $40 for a 8”x10”.

I commissioned a bulbasaur (my fave!). AND IT IS GOING TO BE AWESOME. I mean, COME ON. LOOK AT THESE THINGS. So yeah, b&w, but still. Afasd;fsdlkfsdfasdflsdfj!
