went to the William Gibson thing at Elliott Bay last Tuesday.
I’ve only read Neuromancer, and that was in high school. I should probably read more of his books, but I follow him on twitter. That’s worth something.
I drew some cyberpunks in the audience, and wrote some stuff down.

laurark:

Some Dune sketches.
(I know the Fremen couldn’t move well if their suits were like this, but I couldn’t help but imagine a full-body-water-conserving suit as being sort of Humpty Dumpty like.)

ha HAH!

bluebed:

This morning’s quick ink studies of Christophe Blain’s “Gus & his gang.” His deceptively simple style is absolutely impossible to copy and I feel ashamed & embarrassed to even try. If I’m not mistaken Jason mentioned Blain’s work in one interview and said it’s really obvious that he (Blain) loves to draw. It’s true, and there’s so much charm & ease in all his lines and poses, few artists can draw cartoony sexitime so gracefully.
And I’ll squeeze in a couple of questions:
Anonymous asked:How old are you?
Almost 26. Yep, I’m an utter failure, still no job, no freelance work, no great american graphic novel in work, nothing on the horizon. Nothing but a vast horizonful of nothingness.
Anonymous asked:in your last post: what does “P.O.N.Y.” stand for?
Ketamine for kids. Ask your local dealer.

gus & his gang is the fuckin’ bessssssst
and Roman, you’re on the up-and-up! You’ve got that kickstarter and over 9,000 followers, apparently. That’s somethin’! We’ll get there, dude.
<3 that last panel, man.

Old things.
Decided to upload this because of kellyxmartin’s excellent process post.
I haven’t been using my tablet much. And I kind of miss it. But it’s in Seattle. And I’m not in Seattle right now. I’m California.
Edit: IN CALIFORNIA. I’m not California. I’m a boy.
